Wanaka Weekly

Snow, snow, snow - bring it on!!  Yes we have had a little bit of the magic white stuff last night but still not enough to get the skifields open.  Fingers crossed we get a bit more soon!

Mandy and Wayne have returned from their holiday having had a fantastic time on the Gold Coast - now its back to reality and time to get some work done.

News from around town

Tickets have gone on sale this week for the 100% Pure NZ Winter Games.  Get in and get your tickets quick because they are expecting most events to be a sell out.  The Winter Games are on from 11th - 28th August.

The NZ Mountain Film Festival is all set to get underway on July 1st.  It will feature both New Zealand made and international films, as well as some impressive keynote speakers.  Be sure to check out their website.

Unfortunately in the papers today it is confirmed that local bus operators Wanaka Connexions is going to close at the end of this month.  We can help out if this affects you with transfers from Queenstown airport to Wanaka and return - just give us a call.

Well thats it from me this week - keep warm and stay safe while we all sit and play the waiting game for the big dump!

Kylie, Mandy, Wayne and the Te Wanaka Team.
